flower care 101
fresh cut
wrapped bouquets:
after unwrapping, give all flowers a fresh cut - at least one inch - with sharp, clean shears or clippers. cutting stems at an angle will best help with water uptake.
all bouquets and arrangements:
give stems a fresh cut every couple of days.
fresh water
wrapped bouquets:
after giving a fresh cut, place stems in clean, fresh, cool water.
all bouquets and arrangments:
replace water every day - or every couple of days - to ensure bacteria doesn’t grow and affect the longevity of vase life.
tips & tricks
keep flowers in a neutral space - away from bright sunlight, heat and drafts (like a drafty/bright windowsill)
if a stem wilts, remove it from the arrangement to keep your flowers looking and feeling fresh.
we predict flowers to last 2-5 days. there are ways we can encourage longevity for floral vase life - but no way to guarantee it. flowers will wilt at different rates, and go at the pace of nature.
